Welcome to the Operations and Maintenance Department!
Our department oversees the custodial, maintenance, grounds, delivery, and warehouse operations for the District. The Operations Department and its staff are committed to providing safe, healthy and functional learning environments. Our departmental staff consists of a maintenance staff, ground staff, and administrative support. Our Custodial services are provided by GCA Services. The district is approximately 88 square miles with 267 acres of school property. It consists of five elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school as well as an engineering and technology center. We have an administration building, a transportation facility and a warehouse building and child care center. We maintain over 931,000 square feet of building space, which serves over 5,200 students. Our buildings are in use from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. We accommodate a wide range of users including our K-12 students, Parks and Recreation programs, as well as our local community members.
