The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded preschool program for four-year-old children.  Children enrolled in GSRP must be age 4 on or before 9/01/16 or turn 4 after 9/01/16 but before 12/01/16.  Income for each family must be verified before determining that a child is eligible to participate in the free preschool program.  The program's purpose is to help strengthen learning at home and strenghten positive child outcomes.  GSRP provides active and continuous involvment of parents in the learning process.

Romeo GSRP offers a part-day preschool program with a morning session of 8:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m. and a p.m. session from Noon - 3:00 p.m.  We also offer a school-day preschool program from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  The children attend the program Monday - Thursday.  The GSRP uses the Creative Curriculum.  The Creative Curriculum is a state-approved curriculum that aligns with the Early Childhood Standards of Quality for Prekindergarten.
